If we learn or have reason to suspect that a user of this Application, our websites, or our other Services is under age 13, we will promptly delete any personal information that might be stored about that user.

Although the Sites and our other Services are hosted in and are intended for users from the United States, we strive to create a global community with consistent standards for everyone. We also strive to respect local laws. The following provisions apply to users and non-users who interact with Livby outside the United States:

WE DO NOT PRE-SCREEN OR APPROVE USERS, NOR TO WE REQUIRE USERS TO REGISTER WITH US IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE SERVICES, AND WE CANNOT GUARANTEE USER IDENTITIES OR ANY INFORMATION THAT USERS PROVIDE. YOU WILL HAVE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACTIONS YOU TAKE IN CONNECTION WITH THE SITES OR THE APPLICATION. DO NOT PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANY OTHER USER UNLESS YOU KNOW THAT USER AND KNOW WHAT HE OR SHE INTENDS TO DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
2. INFORMATION COLLECTION PRACTICES
2.1. WE COLLECT LIMITED PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
In operating the Sites and the Application, our practice is to collect limited personal information from our users. In particular, we may ask you for your email address so that we can send you updates and other information about the Livby application and about changes and additions to the Sites, the Application, and our other Services. If you provide us with your name when you give us your email address, then we will collect and keep your name with your email address, and our files will reflect that your name and email address belong to the same person. If you do not want us to contact you, then do not provide us with your email address or (if applicable) select “Please do not contact me” when we ask you to provide us with your preferences for how often you would like to be contacted by us. If, after you provide us with your email address or otherwise give us permission to contact you, you decide that you no longer want us to contact you, let us know (via the “Contact Us” page on any Site or by emailing us at the address set forth in Section 1.1 above), and we will delete your email address and any associated information from our files.
In providing the Sites and the Application, we may decide to ask you to select a password in order to secure your account, or perhaps to provide you with access to certain restricted areas of our Services. If we require or request a password from you, then maintaining the confidentiality of that password will be your responsibility, and we will not have any liability for your failure to maintain that confidentiality or to allow someone other than you to access and use any Site or the Application through your account.
We do want you to tell your friends about Livby, and so on the Sites and in the Application, we may include features through which you can help us spread the word by entering your friends’ email addresses, sharing with your friends via social media services, or otherwise posting to social media services, sending tweets, and/or using email addresses from contacts stored on your mobile device, on your computer or in an online email account. In order to use our Services to email your friends, you will need to click “yes” if asked for permission to access any of your stored or online contacts or friends, and then the Services will use any email addresses or friend information that you select to send the desired message, but will not otherwise retain those email addresses or friend names in its files.
2.2. WE MAY COLLECT ANONYMOUS INFORMATION WHILE YOU USE THE SERVICES
AUTOMATIC COLLECTION. Our servers can automatically recognize visitors’ domain names and IP addresses and may also identify users’ computer/mobile device type and connection information, as well as information about browser type and browser settings and (where possible) geographic location. No personal information about you is revealed in this process. We may also use clear gifs (also known as web beacons) and other methods to gather anonymous “traffic data” that does not personally identify you, but that may be helpful for marketing purposes or for improving our Services. Clear gifs may also be used in email messages that we send to users and to your contacts that you permit us to email so that we can track whether recipients have opened those messages.
COOKIES. From time to time, we may use the standard “cookies” feature of major browser applications that allows us to store a small piece of data on your computer about your visit to the Sites. We do not set any personally identifiable information in cookies, nor do we employ any data-capture mechanisms on the Sites other than cookies. Cookies help us learn which areas of the Sites are useful and which areas need improvement. You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings on your browser. However, if you choose to disable this function, your experience at the Sites may be diminished, and some features may not work as they were intended. Promotions or advertisements displayed on the Sites or in the Application may also contain cookies, and we do not have access to or control over information collected by outside advertisers when you click on any such promotions or advertisements, whether on any Site or in the Application.
3. USE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION
3.1. WHAT DO WE DO WITH INFORMATION WE COLLECT?
You always have the option not to provide us with any personal information. If you do elect to provide any personal information to us, then we will use that personal information to communicate with you about the Sites, the Application, and the other Services offered by us, or to comply with the law, and we will only disclose that information as follows:
If you choose to use the Sites or the Application to contact friends about the Services or us, we will automatically send an email to each friend for whom you provide an email address. We store the email information you provide so that we can (a) send the initial email to your friends and (b) monitor the effectiveness of our invitation services. Your friends may contact us at email@example.com to request that we remove their email information from our databases. For friends that do not respond or that do respond but do not elect to give us their email addresses for subsequent information and updates, we will delete those email addresses when we periodically purge our files.
We use anonymous information to analyze traffic and usage of the Sites and the Application, but we do not examine this information for individually identifying information. In addition, we may use anonymous IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Sites, the Application, and the other Services, or to display content according to your preferences, and we may use clear gifs (or similar features) to anonymously track how users are using the Sites, the Application and the other Services and to improve our reporting and marketing systems. Traffic and transaction information may also be shared with business partners and advertisers on an aggregate and anonymous basis.
3.2. IN WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES WILL WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

In order to accommodate changes in our business, we may sell our company or portions of our company or sell or buy portions of other companies or assets, including the information collected through the Sites, the Application, and the other Services. We may also sell the Sites and/or the Application in connection with a deal for the sale or distribution of Livby. If Livby, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, or if Livby is sold or licensed for distribution, user information may, in our sole discretion, be one of the assets transferred to the acquirer.
3.4. HOW CAN YOU ACCESS AND/OR REMOVE YOUR INFORMATION?
You can notify us at any time that you want to terminate our storage of your personal information, and upon receipt of that notice, we will remove all information about you from our database, at which point you will no longer receive email notices and updates from us. Unfortunately, we do not maintain any procedures for you to review or request changes to the information that we collect about you; your only option at this time is to request the deletion of all personally identifiable information about you in our files. Also, keep in mind that any information or content that you have posted to public areas of third-party social media services may remain in those areas irrespective of the status of your user accounts with those social media services. The deletion of your personal information from our files will not cause the removal of any content you had previously provided to social media services, even if provided from the Sites or the Application or otherwise with the use of the Services.
Livby, the Sites, and the Application have security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of your content and information (including any data that you provide to us), both during transmission and while stored by us, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any loss, misuse, or alteration of such content or information, and we and our owners, partners and affiliates will have no liability to you or to any third party arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration. In addition, your social media account information should be protected by user names and passwords that you have selected, and it is up to you to protect the confidentiality of your account information and to prevent unauthorized access to your social media accounts. When you use any Services to tweet or to connect or post to any social media platform, you are authenticating with and posting to the applicable social media platform, and your login and password information will be processed by that platform. Except as specifically authorized on a Site or from within the Application, the Services will not save any of your social media account information as part of this process, and security of this information will be as provided by the applicable social media platform. You should back up your mobile device regularly (using the device backup options), so that you might be able to restore the Application in the event of loss of data or loss of the device.
